Guide to pay via PayPal, AlePay, Wise, and Payoneer

Many DET test-takers find it hard to pay for their Premium accounts on the DET Practice Platform, so here we share how you could do it via three available payment gateways on your Duolingo English Test Practice Platform.

1. Pay via PayPal

The first concern people have is, “I don’t have a PayPal account. How could I use it to pay?”. You don’t need a PayPal account to pay because you can use it as a guest.

If you don't see the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button, please enter your email or phone number to continue, then you can pass the following Step 3.

2. Pay via 2Checkout (or Verifone)

Note: We're sorry! 2Checkout is currently out of service!

This is an alternative for your payment besides PayPal, and you can pay directly via your cards on the DET Practice Platform.

3. Pay via AlePay 

Only users whose cards are issued in Vietnam can use this to make the payment if they find PayPal or 2Checkout hard to process. You can pay with your cards, bank accounts, or several digital wallets such as Shoppe Pay.

4. Transfer money via Wise or Payoneer

We know a fact that some users in some countries are not able to use PayPal, so this way could save the day. Test-takers may consider Payoneer or Wise as an alternative to make the payment and get a Premium account.

Kindly notice that users need to create either a Payoneer or a Wise account in order to transfer money to us, which will likely take time if you are not familiar with technology or digital wallets. In this case, you should ask for help from friends or family members! 

Step 1: Create your account

Please go to Play Store (Android) or AppStore (iOS) to download your preferred Digital Wallet. We support receiving money via Wise or Payoneer.

Step 2: Transfer money to our account

After creating and setting up your account, you can transfer money to our Wise or Payoneer account with the same account email: john@detpractice-tadehub.com (or account phone number: +84 91 151 2939).

Kindly enter our Account email carefully before making the payment.

For example, if users choose the 15-day Premium package that costs $13,99 and have a 20% discount code, then users only need to transfer $11,19. 

If you already have a WISE account, here are a few steps to transfer money to another WISE account:

1. Open the Wise app or desktop site, and log into your account
2. Tap the currency you want to send, and then select the Send button
3. Enter the recipient’s phone number
4. Select the currency and enter the amount you want to send — or the amount the recipient needs to receive
5. Tap Continue, and add a reference or message if you want to
6. Check everything over, confirm and you’re done

Step 3: Take your Transaction page screenshot

After making the payment, users need to take the Transaction page screenshot and send it to the following email: support@detpractice-tadehub.com .

Other information users need to send besides the Transaction page:

• The discount code (if any);
• The chosen package (15, 30, 60 days or DET Preparation packages).

Our Support team will check and share the Premium code in 24 hours (not including weekends) after receiving the users' Transaction page and all required information.
